Families for Christ SA (FFC SA) is a vibrant, Christ-centred Christian community and ministry dedicated to building strong families rooted in biblical truth, spiritual growth, and heartfelt worship.
Founded on 22 January 2023, our ministry began with a clear and powerful calling: to gather families under the lordship of Jesus Christ, equipping believers to mature in faith and live out God’s purposes in their homes, churches, and communities. Starting humbly in Ennerdale, Johannesburg, South Africa, we have grown into a warm, welcoming fellowship where individuals, couples, and whole families can encounter God’s love, dive deep into His Word, and serve one another in unity.
Our mission is to teach Scripture for the maturity of believers—helping each person grow in the knowledge of God’s Word, deepen their relationship with Christ, and develop spiritual discernment for daily life (inspired by 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Our vision is to raise up spiritually mature believers so the will of God can take place—transforming lives, strengthening marriages, guiding godly parenting, and fulfilling His purposes through a united body of Christ.
At Families for Christ SA, we emphasize:
Expository Bible teaching and in-depth studies to grow in knowledge and practical application of God’s Word.
Dynamic worship and praise in truth and in spirit that honours God and draws us closer to Him.
Family-focused ministry, including support for marriages, parenting, and raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Community outreach and service, reflecting Christ’s call to give generously and love our neighbours (as we often say: “God has given us two hands—one to receive with and the other to give with. Make use of both!”).
Discipleship steps such as water baptism, child dedications, and personal commitments to follow Jesus.
We gather regularly for Sunday services, midweek Bible studies, prayer meetings (like our Upper Room gatherings), and special events, creating space for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.
